If you are looking for a Greyhound, look no further than GAC! This lovely rescue group always has an abundance of wonderful dogs, and they take great care of their animals. Run by a behaviorist and a vet, and established for more than 30 years, they really know what they are doing.

Greyhounds are a great breed if you are looking for a low energy, relaxing dog that doesn’t require a lot of upkeep. They aren’t particularly interested in obedience training, but they are loyal companions who want nothing more than a comfy bed and a loving home. To tour their facility, check them out at their regular open house events!

Our Company Mission

Animal psychology has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. Through trial and error, I came to learn the ins and outs of animal behavior - specifically in dogs. My drive to perfect the art of canine behaviorism stemmed from years of obedience classes where I saw many dog owners working to perfect animals that had much more deep seated issues. These dogs often learned tricks that masked tendencies such as aggression and fear, but did not eliminate them. My goal was to create a system to keep dogs out of pounds, and help them become respected and well loved family members.

Our History

Behave was opened to help make dog training doable and affordable for the average family. Because of the lack of behavior specific training, many dogs are bounced from family to family, and often euthanized. At Behave, we hope to put a dent in this problem by offering real solutions to owners who love their dogs as much as we love ours..

Specialties

Canine behavior modification - specifically aggression, leash pulling, separation anxiety, hyperactivity, destructive behavior, and fearful behavior. We also offer obedience training from beginner to advanced.
